Who we are
Co-Founder & CEO
Ariel is a well-respected retailer expert with a vision to solve the main challenges of the grocery stores global industry. He started his way as a bookkeeper and worked his way up through several different positions in the retail world including managing positions and VP in one of the well-known supermarket chains in Israel.
His 14 years of experience made him tech enthusiastic with an innovative idea that pragmatically solves retail challenges in an efficient and fully automated way.
As Algoretail’s CEO, Ariel is fully involved in the company’s day-to-day operations. He takes an active role in client relations and highly devoted to customer care success.
Shuki (Josh) Shechter
Co-Founder & CTO
Josh is the tech expert of Algoretail. He started as a tech teacher after graduating from the Technion (Israel institute of technology) and while doing so, he started his tech entrepreneur life.
In his 25 years of experience in the software & hardware world, Josh built and founded several successful tech companies among them he co-founded Stornext that later on he and his partner sold Storenext to Retalix.
As Algoretail’s CTO, Josh is responsible for the software design, tech analysis and the development of Algoretail with a high level of attention to details.
Ilana is a digital marketing expert with a varied skill-set. Combining a deep understanding of technologies and extensive experience as a content marketer and technology journalist, Ilana brings a unique outlook on B2B marketing in an online world. Under her belt are a decade of writing for Israel's leading news outlets about startups and innovation, as well as various roles in start-ups.
As Algoretail’s CMO, Ilana is tasked with branding, marketing, content and sales cycle management.
